You know this is one of the few moments I actually adore Portia. She's human. She's vulnerable. Her advice is very motherly in nature. She's speaking to Marina as one woman to another..on a human level. It is honest, no sugar coating but there's no cruelty. Portia is as chained to her circumstances as any other woman of the Ton. It's good to see her gentle side.😊
